bleed at 8 wks feel hopeful

just had bleed at 8 weeks. went to gp and they are refering me for an early scan. didnt have this with dd1 so was imediately worried. got slight tummy pain. not heavy bleed but continuous for abt 3hrs now. anyone had a good turnout?

I had a bleed at 8 weeks. DD is now snuggled into my shoulder!

I've bleed at 8 week's with both ds and my current pregnancy, (20weeks now) . All ok.

I bled for 3 weeks in the first tri and the baby made it.

I bled at 10wks and just had another bleed at 14wks. Both times no pain was told at the scan it can sometimes be implantation bleeding or common to get breakthrough bleeding when you're period would normally be due and was told can sometimes last upto a week. If you've got no pain and are not gushing with blood try not to worry I was surprised at how common bleeding in pregnancy actually is. Fingers crossed all is ok x

yes i wouldnt have thought it was common - thought it was a given that you dont have pd during pg.

Yes I had a bleed for an afternoon with dc1 at around 8 weeks. I freaked out but went home and stayed in bed for the day.it stopped after about six hours. Phew.

ok so bleeding seems to have stopped just got that brown end of pd type blood. sure the scan will be fine

I have had 4 bleeds so far - two where as long as a period, and at the exact time I would've had my period.

Three scans so far and baby is doing fine at 10 weeks.

One of the bleeds was bright red and very heavy but all still ok by some miracle.

Hope things work out for you.
I Don't want to give false hope but I bled to the point of haemorrhage with both of mine, they are fine.
