Pregnancy Snoring

Since being pregnant, I have developed an awful snoring habit...DP wakes me up many times a night because of it. It started off when I was on my back...now I still snore if I am on my side.

A couple of times he has woken me and as I have started to wake I have heard the snoring...it's not just nasal...but feels like it's coming from my throat.

Has anyone else experienced this....and will it go ? I never snored before.

My DP reckons it's so loud that I will wake the neighbours !! Even my kids have heard it Shock .

I've heard from a friend that nasel strips are safe to use and good for this :) I've had a few nights I've known I've snored too!! I know personally my sinuses have been bunged up since day one so that probs isn't helping

Nasal strips help a bit. Also olbas oil for babies/children is safe to use (you just put it on a tissue near where you sleep). It's apparently quite common and should go away on it's own once after the baby's born - at least I'm hoping so!

I think you should tell your dh to stop waking you up! I do very loud pg snoring, I've actually heard myself when I've come round after napping on the sofa. Perhaps he needs ear plugs! Dh woke me up when it started and after a few nights i told him never to do it again - can't help it, happens whether on side or back...
