How much can a pregnancy test take before it rebels?

Am ttc#3 and on holiday. I bought a very cheap test (£1 equivalent) in a pharmacy to test although I'm not due for five days. I am though 10 days PO. I peed on the test and got nothing at all. I dismembered it and got the strip out and two hours later peed directly on to that. A faint second line has come up. Could this be a real result or have I tortured the test beyond endurance? The second line came up well within five minutes.

Sorry, I should make it clear. The first time absolutely nothing appeared, not even the control. Second time I got a strong control line and faint second line.

No idea sorry, have to say it's never occurred to me to use one more than once though! Time to spend another £1 I think!

It IS splendidly cheapskate isn't it?! In my defence I pulled it apart to see what was going on and realised that for some reason the window bit hadn't moved any wee across to the strip so thought I might as well pee on the strip the next time I went to the toilet just to see what happened. It was a sort of experiment. And now a slightly sleepless night beckons.

I have taken three tests and they are all positive ,I still can't believe it tho ?Can u check my pictures pls ?
