Day 9 in The Big Mumma's Uterus!

Hi all

Regular reader, first time poster and im fed up!!! 9 days over due today and had my sweep yesterday. Was told i was 1-2cm dilated however my cervix was still tucked under a little. Really thought that the sweep would help but nothing has happened, no show or contractions. Had one BHicks last night and thats as exciting as it got!

I'm booked in for an induction on Sunday but reaalllllly wanted to avoid another induction, so when everyone keeps saying 'oohhh just 3 more days' i could punch them quite happily over and over in the chops!!

Anyone else suffering? x x

Not in this position right now but was a few years back with DC3. It got to the point where (on the 27th i think) I just gave up moaning because I decided I wanted a September baby! I actually rang my hospital and re-arranged my induction for the 1st! The thought of having an August baby had never bothered me THAT much but at that moment I just decided to shut up for the sake of the pain DD would go through later in life for being the youngest! For now though, you have my sympathies it really is a horrible time!

Lots of people has mentioned this to me, however i can't say that i'm that bothered. My husband has an Aug birthday and never suffered at all, nor did my brother who is another Aug baby - they are both quite the clever clogs!

Im being hounded by my friends and relatives who are very excited which is lovely but not taking into consideration my feelings about it all :( all i keep getting is reminded she will be here in 2 days. That desnt make me feel any better at all, i dont want to be induced for the second time (prev baby came at 42+1 after induction at 42 weeks) no one seems to understand.
