When are you packing your hospital bag?

I'm 32 weeks and have picked up a few bits for hospital bag. Starting to wonder if I should pack it now just in case. Elder DC both went overdue so it's more likely that this one will too, right?

On the other hand, I had extremely quick births before so if anything did happen early I likely wouldn't have time to pack a hospital bag.

When is everyone else doing it or planning on doing it?

I did all the buying of stuff for baby and me at around 31 weeks, so started putting stuff in a bag in the bottom of the chest of drawers at that point. I'm almost 36 weeks now, and have just starting putting final bits in as I buy them - things like massive pants and a sleeping bra and sweets etc. I'll put some sports water in it at some point, some capri sun drinks, some cereal bars for boyfriend etc.

I figure I'll have at least 24 hours to really consider this when I actually go into labour though!

With DC1- at 30 weeks. As I had gall bladder attacks and they assumed that baby would arrive early. Got induced at 40+3 he arrived 40+6

Now I'm 32 weeks and just started sorting things for baby's bag!
I will have a bag starting for me soon and just add gradually! As we are on a tight budget so pick up things a little at each shopping tour!

Funny thing is that between both DC it will only be 13 month difference but I already have no clue what to pack and what I should not pack!

I'm due on 15th September. I've made a list for my hospital bag and have bought everything that I need (4th baby, so not too much needed buying).

But I have this thing about not tempting fate. I do not want an August baby so am refusing to get my hospital bag ready and do any last minute preparing until Monday (1st September).

I know that sounds stupid and in fact will not make any difference to when the baby will come. But I find it important. I will be all packed by 38 weeks pregnant though.
