Hi all! This is a very TMI topic but I need some advice/similar experiences to put my mind at rest....
On Tuesday I had a heavy discharge that was ever so slightly green tinged so I called my GP to ask if it could be a yeast infection, they said doubtful as there was no smell and I have no itching! They prescribed me antibiotics anyway (which I won't be taking as they give me thrush! Duh!) and a friend who's a midwife said to go & get a canesten pessary to be on the safe side... I was all set to do that this morning but while I was hanging up my washing I suddenly felt very sticky & wet so went to the bathroom and I've got the slightly greeny tinged mucus again but it's really noticeable stringy this time! I'm not worried that this could be my mucus plug, which you shouldn't lose before 37 weeks! I'm only 33+2! Have left a vm with my midwife but she's really bad at responding....

You can lose and 'regrow' (can't think of the right word) the mucus plug right the way through pregnancy, so that doesn't mean anything in itself. I mentioned to my MW that I thought I was doing that. She wasn't concerned.
