Gender scan?

Hi all,

I'm new to the site, 15 weeks 2 days pregnant with my first child, 2 previous miscarriages.

I am booked in for my private gender scan I will be 16 weeks 1 day.

I'm a little nervous, can anyone tell me what to expect?

I had one at baby bond- i think they have locations all over the country. I was given a warm friendly welcome and led down on the bed while she started to scan me- a much nicer environment than my NHS scan

She showed me baby and i said its a boy isnt it ... and she confirmed !! She then showed me him a few more positions and also in 3d for about a minute. She asked me to pick when i wanted photos taking etc and continued to talk me through him
it was a great experience.

Have you any inklings of what your having? I was convinced i was having a boy- ive always wanted a daughter but i couldnt even think about having one at this point- i bought boys clothes before my scan, i only thought of boys names .. and there he was !

Thanks for your reply. I don't have a clue to be honest but I'm trying to not get connected due to my previous miscarriages I'm finding it hard not to worry all the time.

I haven't bought one item yet the day of my scan if everything goes well I will be going straight to Mothercare/Next lol.

I always wanted a boy but now the further I'm going the less I care what I'm having as long as the babies healthy.
