Am pregnant with dc2, have a non walking toddler who I have to carry about a lot.

Anyway over the last week I have really severe lower back pain, it's actually going down as far as the top of my buttocks and it's making me walk strangely. I didn't have any pain whatsoever in last pregnancy.

Also in the last few days, my bump has gone rock hard and it feels very very tight- it's very uncomfortable Sad. Again I don't remember this from dc1.

I'm trying to walk around two miles as normal when I come home from work but I'm literally in agony and panting all the way.

I have no help in the evenings, dh works so I do all the lugging of the toddler around myself and wondered if this could be part of it?

Sounds like SPD, look it up, then go see doc/midwife

Stop walking! You could be aggravating something. Agree with OP, I've suffered with PGP in 2 pregnancies. Get to your GP and ask for a physio referral. I have a belt that helps massively.

Sounds like spd I had it only very slightly after working a long shift or too much walking try to rest, warm bath & I used a hot water bottle but I'm not sure if there recommended.

Sounds like spd. An osteopath should be able to help.
