I wake up on my back.

I make a conscious effort every night to go to sleep on my left hand side and easily get comfortable and fall asleep
then every morning i wake up on my back!!
Is this bad for baby? How can i prevent it?

Im 27 weeks and my back is starting to get abit sore now as i have an office job and im stiff for most of the day

Get yourself a support pillow that comes around your back. I got one by summer infant from Argos that wraps around me, but also heard a lot of people say good things about the dream genii.

If you are not waking, it means the vein in your back is not being restricted. Therefore there is little risk.
If your back is sore, a pregnancy pillow may well help - but I found 2 rows of normal pillows just as good (except I have to turn over to the other side at night half-way - perfectly safe - to avoid hurting my left hip).
