DC2 - how likely is it that ill go into labour on my due date?

DH has been invited to a friend's stag do on the day of my due date. He has pretty much declined, however if I haven't given birth by then or showing any signs of going into Labour, I said he should go (just stay sober enough to handle the birth should I need to meet him at the hospital).

Itd be nce to get an idea of how likely it is that baby will arrive on that one specific day. If it helps, we knew the conception date, so the due date is as accurate as possibly ever would be.

I think there is something like a 5% chance of you giving birth on your due date. I'd tell him to go if you feel like you aren't showing any signs at all, but make sure his phone is fully charged, not on silent and he is sober-ish!

Was your first born on or around their due date? I think that can have a bearing too.

With dd I went into labour early hours of 40+2, and she was born 24 hours later.

DH doesnt drive so my folks are booked to be on standby anyways (mum for childcare and dad for the lift) though I havenlots of local family who would be able to take us to the hospital.
