3d scan.. When did you have yours ??

Somewhere local to Us is doing an offer this weekend- I'd be 26+4 on day of scan is this to early? Or if you had one around then please could I take a look at your pictures !!

I had ours done at 25 weeks, we were told between 25-28 weeks was the best time. I am not near our pics but it was amazing, it freaked my mum out as ds looked exactly like on scan (not sure what she expected though)

That's reassuring thankyou! I was told that the baby might not have much chub on him yet so could look slightly alien like so was worried !!

Hi I've had 2. Unintentional though. The first one at 22 weeks was because I was referred to a private hospital after my anomaly scan as the general couldn't get measurements the private hospital gave me a 3d scan with it. I went with my mum and then dh complained about being left out so insisted I got another one at 31 weeks which wasn't as good. I think somewhere in the middle would be ideal. The first one was better though.

I think by 30 weeks they have less room to move around so look more squished in.
It was odd looking at our pic we could see the sort of lips and nose he would have, she did comment that his hands looked big and once he fattened up they wouldn't look so big but explained dh has hands like shovels so it was likely not to change...he came iut with hands like mini shovels

I had mine at 17 weeks only because I went private for a gender scan and they put the 3d scan in for free. Was brilliant

I think that's the best time to go. I went at 16 weeks for reassurance and even at that stage it was amazing he was just very skinny!
