waters broke!!

My waters have broken! Just a waiting game now! Hopefully starts tonight or I'm being induced tomorrow! Eek!!

Yay! My contractions started about an hour after my waters broke. It was the middle of the night so I just lay in bed but if you want to get things going, climbing stairs or gentle lunges might help.

My contractions with ds started about an hour or 2 later. With dd they started straight away. If they don 't start today, ring the delivery suite/mw as there is a risk of infection once they've gone.

I'm 39+6 so maybe have him bang on due date!
If I don't go tonight I'm booked into hospital for induction in morning so going to be a mummy very soon! Eek!

I think he's too cosy in there as no movement! I'm just waiting on midwife to call me back to let me know when to go in! The waiting is terrifying me!

Congrats! 39+2 here and not had any signs so guessing he will be late!!! Hopefully I'll be saying the same as you in 4 days time :D! Did you have any signs before your waters breaking? Good luck x

If you're still up and no contractions, my advice would be- go to bed! My waters broke Monday morning, contractions started late night, contractions all night then in hospital from 6.30am, was exhausted and labour much harder than it needed to be. Sleep as long as you can (although may be too late now!)

Baby jack was born on 22nd August at 2022. 8lbs 12oz.
Ended up delivered by forceps and had a bug blood loss but all very worth it! He's adorable! Grin x
