Hi Everyone
I'm looking for some feel better vibes and stories please..... Smile
I have DS who started school today (sniff sniff) and we had no issues at all having him. I have had a partial molar pregnancy, a mmc and a chemical pregnancy in the last 2 years and just found out I am pregnant again.
I am 35 and DH is 37, I've peed on about 8 sticks and they are definitely BFP with the line getting progressively darker over the last 2 days.
After all that's gone before we're not saying anything to anyone and I haven't even made a midwife appointment yet.
I just feel a bit frozen, like if I tell anyone or do anything it will go away! All I want to do is pee on a stick every hour on the hour!! Blush Mental I know..........does anyone have any positive stories or advice to stop me from going completely nuts?!!

Positive story : My grandmother had 2 miscarriages and then went on to have 2 healthy children, one of whom is my mum... she had her second, my uncle, when she was well into her 40s.

Lots and lots of positive thoughts and hugs for you xxx

Thank you so much, I can't remember what it was like to be excited about being pregnant!

DH is very practical and realistic so he doesn't really want to talk too much about it or get ahead of ourselves but I need to talk about it.....ALOT!

Hopefully this one is a sticky little bugger. Smile

My best friend had 4 mcs before giving up and deciding they couldn't do it any more. A couple of months later she unexpectedly fell pregnant. She's now about 36 weeks, 3 weeks behind me : ) it can happen! Very best of luck to you x

I had three MC in 12 months between March 13 and March this year.

One Blighted Ovum picked up at 12 week scan, 2 early natural MC before 7 weeks.

Am currently 13 weeks 5 days pregnant. Positive enough? Come and join the positifrickintivity thread and CONGRATULATIONS! xx

I have everything crossed for you - please feel free to talk to me all day about this - I can't tell anyone at work yet and its killing me! We have told our family and my best friend but I need someone to talk to too. Its so hard keeping it quiet!

Yeah I had 2 early miscarriages (if you know you're pregnant it is unlikely to be chemical, but an early loss) and a further loss down to a partial molar.

I am now 36+5 pregnant. Have had a straightforward pregnancy.

Do tell your GPS to refer you to the consultants at your local hospital: after 3 losses you are entitled to support as a 'recurrent' miscarrier which may take the form of reassuring extra scans, and perhaps medication such as aspirin.

But most women (70%) have a completely uncomplicated unmedicated pregnancy even after 3 losses.

Oh and age 35 doesn't raise MC risk. It can make conception take longer but you've done that bit!

Thanks everyone, you've really made me feel better, have just come back from celebratory first day at school lunch with DS and MIL and I was so desperate to tell her!! I resisted for now!

I've only known for 2 days, the next few weeks are going to feel like years Sad

Hopefully it's my turn this time. If the soreness of my boobs is anything to go by then this is the real deal! Blush

I'm going to phone for a midwife appointment........thanks again everyone
