I've been trying to not sleep on my stomach as i worry about squashing baby! I have a bump but its still quite soft so some mornings i do wake up sort of on my tummy.
Is this really bad?
how should i be laying, dont want to hurt baby!

I am now 15 weeks and find it uncomfortable when on my belly or back. Id wait for your body to tell you!

maybe think about getting a pregnancy pillow? you might find you need one in the end anyway and they can help you sleep in the best position (on your left side). i think i got mine about 14 weeks so i could train myself to sleep in the right position (usually a back sleeper) and although i'm thoroughly fed up with it now at 39 weeks, it's been very useful!

34 weeks and still sleeping on stomach. Don't worry about it. Your body will tell you when to stop - the baby sometimes lets me know to move by beating me up too.

I slept on stomach till around 20 weeks

Before any harm would be (potentially - a 0.6% increase in risk) done, you would have been feeling pain/discomfort for some time. Don't worry.
When you cannot sleep like that comfortably, then get out the cushions! :)

I'm 24 weeks and still sleeping on my stomach... I've always slept on my stomach and find it pretty uncomfortable sleeping any other way. Like you, I was a bit worried about squashing the baby but when I spoke to my midwife about it, she assured me I wouldn't squash him and my body would let me know before I did either of us any damage. I'm trying to enjoy the stomach sleeping as much as I can at the moment cos I'm sure there will come a time when it will be physically impossible!

Never mind the baby, my boobs haven't let me sleep on my front since around 7 weeks! Enjoy it while you can Wink
