Childrens bedrooms

Expecting my second Ds but my dsd comes to stay very occasionally once a week more if we are allowed but no more than twice she will be ten when the baby is here.
The question is does she need to have her own room and I put my Ds in One together even though he will be 4 when baby is born so will disrupt his sleep more than likely. Or do I have a nursery and keep Ds room with that also set up for dsd for when she does stay or would that be against the law I have tried to find out but because she doesn't live her constantly there isn't enough information on it?

I don't know if it differs with her only staying occassionally but I remember from when I was young my parents saying I had to have my own room before I was 10. They had tried moving me into my own room (from sharing with 2 brothers) at the age of 5 but I felt lonely at night so swapped with my older bother for a few years.

It's absolutely not "against the law" for children of any ages or sexes to share a room. My ex's siblings still shared a room in their late teens/early twenties!

It's a myth, that comes from council house rulings on when you are thought to require more bedrooms, in which case I think if you had separate sexes and one was over twelve then you would be entitled to another bedroom. I think. But it's nothing to do with law anyway.

It is an urban myth from council houses and fostering. No application to 'normal' families at all.
