More musing about snuzpod, troll, bed nest stuff

Well after reading all the threads about the different bed nests I went to a local shop just to browse and enjoy being pregnant again.

And lo and behold there was a snuzpod and a troll there ! So here are my little observations just in case you don't get to see them in a rl shop.

I really liked the look of the snuzpod it's fun and looks cozy and easy to use, the rod holding the side looked a little strange, like you to have to take it out, I'm sure that there is a way of doing it, but I also thought that it looked sturdy and well made. The only thing is that is not much bigger than a Moses basket so might not last very long and it is £199,99 !!

So the troll looked nice too, quite like a traditional crib, it is longer than the snuzpod so I think it will be the one I go for, certainly looks like it would adjust well to any height if bed as there are lots of fixing for height adjustment. And it's cheaper by about £20, it's £160 and then £20 for a mattress.

The other thing about the troll is that is on wheels do can be easily wheeled silently from area to area, there are locks on the wheels. So I thought that was a bit of a clincher for us as we are moving to a flat. The mechanism for putting the side up looked smooth too. All in all I think the troll would be the one I will pick.

Check eBay for a Troll crib first - you'll save money and the environment! Grin

We rented a Bednest and saved lots. We love it. No apologies for loads of posts - it was our best decision. Want to share the experience. :) x
