So fed up

Doctors appt today (38+2). No sign of baby as of yet at all. Baby is 3/5 engaged. Not got next appointment which will be my hospital app to discuss what to do next which isn't till I'm 41 weeks, what is that all about that's a long way off. I better go into labour soon.

Just had hot curry and I'm going a walk later. Oh and over here they won't do sweeps for first baby's as they tend not to work as the cervix will remain hard until labour is imminent and by then it will happen naturally, so only induction is next process

Could be worse ... you could be 31 weeks

Are you all ready for them? Stocked up your freezer? Bought everything? Packed your hospital bag?

Could be even worse than that!

You could be 40+12, have had two sweeps that have done nothing and be staring down the barrel of an unwanted induction!

Ds did that to me. Little sod. Had him 4 hours before my scheduled induction!

I have 9 proper weeks left and the possible extra 2 for fun.

Yes I'm all prepped hospital bag done, babys cot, Moses basket and clothes all sorted. House is spotless, Im spotless lol.

So bored now and anxious also so just want it all over with.

I'm at exactly the same place, except 38+3 days. Baby isn't engaged at all, still roaming free in there, and no signs of him coming any time soon. First sweep booked in 2 weeks time, then a hospital appointment booked for 41 weeks to discuss "options". Boo! Done everything there is to do; I just want my baby...

I wish I was all prepped and bored at this stage! Okay, probably would go stir crazy, but feel so unprepared for DC2! I hopefully still have time though as only 35 +2.

38+4 here.. Measuring at 36 weeks but midwife doesn't seem to fussed. Had no signs of labour being close :(, no show, barely any braxton hicks... The only thing I do get daily is sharp stabbing pains in my cervix, no idea what that is but knowing my luck probably not a sign :(. Don't see my midwife now until 40+3 but she said that's too early for a sweep and my sweep can only be done at 41 weeks. This last haul is horrendous :(, I just want to meet my little man and not feel like a whale anymore!!! Everyone around me seems to be popping out their babies left right and center and I'm still stick waddling!! Grrr. I have tried curry, pineapple, raspberry leaf tea and I bounce on my ball every day but as I said still no signs :(. I feel for us all, I guess we just have to keep positive and know that it will be over sooner than we think :). Good luck to you all x

37+6 (in 22 mins) here and starting to feel really fed up. Have had HG since week six and even though I can almost see the finish line I just feel like this will never end! All I want is to meet my boy, feel semi-normal and enjoy a cup of tea again (I was a huge tea-drinker before I got pregnant, it makes me feel sick now).

I'm informed that he's in position, and engaged (don't know how many 5ths tho) so am just pleading with him to have mercy on me soon!

39+1 here and very fed up! Have a 3.5 dd to run around after too!! Was in hospital at 36w to be told I was having dd2 that night and then nothing!
Had cramps for about 3 weeks, back pain, loose stools, pressure, headache and sickness and still nothing!! Trying everything to get her moving! All the women in my family have had their babies by the 38th week which makes it even more annoying!! I think I'll go past 40w!!! Also struggling with spd!!
