Just spotted a couple of dark blobs under each eye (just on the cheek bone). Googled it and the Wikipedia pic was EXACTLY what I have.

So annoyed, I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and isn't it enough that I can't eat (HG), sleep, walk and shit like a normal person?!

I'm not vain, I don't consider myself particularly attractive, I'm just pissed off that I have ANOTHER shit thing to add to a catalogue of shit things.

Has anybody else had this? Please tell me it fades!

Oh bad luck. My friend had it, it does go, but comes back at the merest hint of sun.

I've got a bad patch of hyper pigmentation that I acquired when travelling years ago and I basically sunblock the fuck out of it almost all year round.

Also, if it really effects you you can have it lasered away in the future, my dentist does it would you believe! (Usually it's the type of people who do hair lasering)

I wouldn't worry so much about it. As you have said, you haven't been sleeping well so it is probably partly caused by that. Make sure to drink lots of water, dark under eyes can also be a sign that you need to drink more water.

I get it. It does fade but I have a couple of largish blobs that became permanent after my first. They are on the side of my face , so not too bad. This time it's like lots of tiny freckles, so looks like I've got a tan from a distance.

My last pregnancy was in winter, so it was more obvious. Co told me it looked like someone had thrown mud in my face! Nice.
