Should I call hospital?

Not exactly sure why I am writing this, as I know I will call hospital soon, but feeling a bit unsettled.

I am 35 plus 5 with dc3. Dds1 and 2 were born at 39 weeks and 38 weeks.
When I went to bed last night I told dh that the baby was hurting me, and felt like it was in a weird position. I was hoping it was trying to move as at my 34 week check it was diagonally oblique.

Since then I have had what I can only describe as mild contraction type cramps - I've been awake since 4am. They only last for a few seconds but definitely feel different to normal period type pains and if think I remember this is how my previous labours started. Am in a bit of denial I think as not quite 36 weeks and worried about things going wrong.

Assume I should just call hospital now, they will tell me to come in to be checked and will then know what is going on. Dh and both dds ares sleeping soundly right now and I can't think straight!

Thanks

congratulations!
ds1 born at 36 weeks. he spent a bit of time in scbu and took a while to shake off the jaundice but is now a very healthy three year old who is above the top line on the charts for height and on 98th for weight, she probably seems tiny now, but will soon be terrorising your older dc (in a good way)
take your time getting feeding established as that was trickier with smaller baby, but you will get there!

Congratulations! DS was 5lb 1oz at 34+5 and needed no special care. Is she a good weight?

Well done Girlsville! Great to hear she's doing ok. And only one day shy of 36 weeks :)

Hope you get her home nice and soon
