How many weeks are you? It can be a sign of high blood pressure I think so probably worth seeing your midwife.

rach2713 · 10/08/2014 00:52

Aww no that's ok they say it's not recommended cuz they haven't done a lot of research but that was my very last resort cuz I couldn't move or open my eyes. My daughter is 20 months old now but I did talk to my midwife and didn't seem to do her any harm but if your worried talk to your doc as they may give you something different for being pregnant.

Im 18 week now. At my 12 week appointment my bp was 50/90 then at 16 weeks it was 70/100

Pressed enter too soon then! Put my symptons into google cause i keep getting swollen feet and really tired and pre-eclampsia came up and i started kecking my pants. My midwife is quite rude tbh and when ive rrang her about concerns in the past shes been very rude and made me feel like an idiot.

Can you not phone the hospital and speak to a midwife there cuz they will treat you better

Shazam24 · 10/08/2014 01:00

Damn it! Sorry! A premature son who unfortunatly passed away and 2 miscarriges so im often worried. I havnt rung her over petty issues. Rang her when i had a bleed & rang her when i kept getting dizzy. But shes just very rude and tbh nasty. Would a doctor see me or would they just refer me to the midwife? X

A doctor will see you bout your migraines and talk bout the dif stuff you can take. But in you notes you should have your local mat unit numbers you can phone out of hours and just tell them your symptoms

rach2713 · 10/08/2014 01:05

Just tell them you keep getting headaches your feet are swollen and you keep getting dizzy and they should take your past losses into account and see you

CanISayOfHerFace · 10/08/2014 09:16

Definitely get checked by a professional but I suffered from severe headaches too. Have you cut out caffeine? I did whilst pregnant but found a dark room, paracetomol, cold compress and a cup of (caffeinated) tea would sort it out.

Forehead also worked for me too and is safe in pregnancy.

Keepontrudging · 10/08/2014 13:51

I feel your pain op. I never with pregnancy either. Going to ring docs as surely they can give something more than paracetamols?
