Ok ladies, I could be worrying over nothing and I'm too scared to tell my partner and worry him too.

I'm 11 weeks and iv not had my scan yet, but iv lost all symptoms that I had. The first I noticed was my boobs, my aerolas have gone back to a lighter colour when they went really dark, my boobs aren't heavy and sore any more. Sickness is subsiding and I generally have lost all that pregnancy feeling.

Am I worrying over nothing? Is it normal to lose all symptoms at this stage?

Symptoms can come and go, especially at the end of the first trimester. Try not to worry. Is your scan soon?

FoodieMum3 · 09/08/2014 11:26

My symptoms disappeared completely at 10 weeks on this pregnancy. I'm 35 weeks now.

When is your dating scan? Try not to worry (impossible I know) Thanks

DragonFlyx · 09/08/2014 11:32

My scan is little over a week away. I had symptoms throughout my first pregnancy although I know every pregnancy is different I still keep thinking I should have them through out this one too.

Thank you for your comments ladies x

My symptoms eased off at about 10 weeks this pregnancy. Baby is fine (now 34 weeks). Try not to worry. xx

If it helps, I have three kids and the symptoms have been different each time. Smile

11 weeks the placenta will be taking over, so symptoms can definitely change completely or even vanish (before then various glands and cysts make the hormones, so they are more mobile round your body and cause more symptoms). Not for everyone but many women. As PP have said, I also ceased to have sickness so much, boob pain etc' about 10 or 11 weeks. I was very worried but my scan showed that the placenta now had a 'pulse' and that explained it!
:)

My sickness with my first suddenly stopped at 10 weeks, I was so worried they ended up giving me a reassurance scan. I'm sure everything is fine xx

freyaW2014 · 09/08/2014 16:30

Don't worry! My symptoms stopped at 10 weeks, came back at 13 weeks briefly and lessoned by 14 weeks. I'm now 20+3 and baby kicking me as I type! Xx

Symptoms can come and go at varying times but since you are nearing the end if the first trimester and about to enter the second (the better one with less yucky symptoms but not quite mahoosive elephant features) your symptoms might be easing off - yayy no more morning sickness right?? You could also be a tad further than you think, not everyones cycle is bang on 28 days so you could actually be in the second tri where things start to subside and give you a bit of a break. If you are worried though call your midwife, even if you don't have a can they were able to pick up babys heart with mine on foetal Doppler from 9 weeks.

Just to add another reassuring voice, my symptoms stopped at exactly 10 weeks literally overnight. I woke up and couldn't figure out what was different, then realised I wasn't feeling sick! Symptoms didn't come back, scan was fine and that baby is now 3 years old!
This pregnancy was totally different mind!

I can't thank you ladies enough! You all made me feel so much better. Although, my sickness has returned, just had to be while I was at work and iv spent best part of my shift with my head over the customers toilet! My sickness always seems to be worse while at work compared to at home, bizzar!

And because of my period (my last one was over a week late, came as a large clot - only way I can describe it) was abit funny, my midwife thinks I'm 11 weeks, although only a scan will tell for sure. So excited though its killing me keeping it a secret!
