For the past couple of days and nights i've been getting what I can only describe as period type pains. I've started to feel really sick today and bottom of my back hurts.

DS arrrived at 35/36 weeks and the consultant has told me to be ready for 35 weeks.

I took paracetamol yesterday and it eased off for a couple of hours but came back again.

I thought it was stretching pains as baby seems to have had a growth spurt but im not sure if I should be worried or not.

I see my MW on Tuesday for my 28 week check

I think given your history you should go and get it checked out, even if just to put your mind at ease but I just wanted to let you know that I am 35 weeks now and have been feeling like this since 32/33 weeks and I'm still here Smile
The symptoms can go away for days at a time but then suddenly (like last night) I get period pains, pressure, backache.

You could even phone and speak to a midwife and get advice.

Make sure you get plenty rest, if possible. Put your feet up.
