I'm 31 weeks with dc2. I've started getting a pain below, like someone has kicked me in the lady garden area. It's more noticeable while walking. Not hurting when pee so don't think it's water infection. Anyone else had this? Should I be concerned?
Don't remember it with ds but not sure if it's just normal pressure etc or something to worry about?

Like stabbing pains in your cervix? And a slightly bruised feeling inside?

I had this when baby starting engaging. Same as you, was bad when standing and walking. I remember doubling over in the street with a bad 'cervix stab' then having to explain to my mum that I was in fact not going into labour!

Sounds like it could be same thing. I can't believe how much it hurts. Let's hope I don't have it for the next 8-10 weeks ! Thanks.

I've had that for weeks now (now 39 wks). I've heard it referred to as lightning crotch!

Oh my goodness, I thought I was going crazy. I'm 32 weeks and have been getting this for the last week or so. Everybody has told me it's my SPD but it's different, more intense pressure type pain than the horrible sore hips/pubic bone pain I've been used too. It also seems to be exagerated when I get stressed out... (I'm in a bit of a stressful job but want to spend as much time with baby once she's here so working until 38 weeks!)

Is it like a tight bruised feeling with the odd stabby pain?
I've had SPD but this last few days I've been getting pain at the very base of my bump and also pelvis as normal.
Do you think I could be engaging? I'm 31 weeks with first baby.

Just googled lightning crotch and that's exactly it. Interestingly most people say it's worse when walking too.
