I started my pregnancy with a BMI of 31 so obese. I gained no weight really in the first trimester (about 4lbs) and then about 7lbs in the second. My weight has now started going down slightly I'm 2lbs lighter than I was a month ago.
I am not trying to lose weight but I am trying to eat well. I have salad for lunch most days rather than sandwiches and I'm eating fruit and plain yoghurt rather than biscuits and things.
Does anyone else have experience of this? I sort of presume it's OK as obviously I am still really overweight. Should I be trying to up my calories?
