Everyone's doing my head in!

Just need a moan, sorry! I'm 10 days overdue and I'm getting sick of the daily texts off people asking how I am and whether there's any sign of baby yet! It's really annoying me! I've told them we'll let them know as soon as there's any news and I know they're only wanted to be kept up do date, but leave me alone!!!!!! I know I'm probably being totally irrational but I can't help it!!!

I felt the exact same way when I was pregnant with my son, work colleagues were constantly texting me and if I didn't reply immediately texting me again 'are you in hospital?'. No I'm on the loo FUCK OFF! I'm 21 weeks pregnant with ds2 and this is my first post here but I can't be doing with real people out there, they're all driving me insane!! I think it's normal? Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer.

I'm 38 weeks and I've already started getting these messages from basically everyone I know
God it's annoying, I feel for you

I told everyone from the start my due date was a week later than it actually is to stop this issue as I'm a very private person. I'm 37 weeks and my facebook is officially turned off until baby makes an appearance.

I didn't realise it would be so annoying Mmolly else I'd have done the same thing! Great idea! I keep leaving it for hours before replying in some sort of defiance. If I don't reply people think I'm in labour!!! If only!

I feel your pain!!!

With dd I got really fed up of those texts!
Why do people assume you wouldn't want to about from the roof tops once baby was here and they would get 'the text'
Also if you had chosen not to text them the perhaps they should why the hint and wait! (Although I know that sounds mean!)
I got to the point of ignoring those texts, one person called after a while and I let DH speak to her and say, look just leave it! That helped!

I also found the 'helpful' text frustrating too....

Like " oh have you tried pineapple... Curry... Sex etc "

Oh thanks I hadn't thought of that!!!! (NOT!!!!)

I'm 36+5 with dc2 and am annoyed already at these people !
