So today I had a consultant appointment and did a wee sample for midwife before.
I was just reading my notes but the writing is just a big scrawl tbh
In the space for urine it had ' ++ low ' ?! I
Think ! Cos i really cant read it !!
What does that mean ?
It has always said 'nad' on my previous samples.
No one said anything to me at hospital .
Any ideas anyone ?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The "nad" from previous urine samples means no abnormalities detected. The ++ means that they have detected a reasonable amount of something in your sample this time - could be protein or glucose, it's not clear from what you've deciphered. The amounts are recorded as +, ++, +++ so maybe ++ low means only just into the ++ category? If this was a concern though then they would definitely have talked to you about it in your appointment.

The 'nad' bit means nothing abnormal noted, but sorry can't help you with the other bit. Hopefully someone else can. I know from working in the NHS doctors have some of the worst handwriting :)
