Can someone explain this nub theory to me I've not a clue what I'm meant to be looking at and from how many weeks can you check this (ive had a scan today im 10+1 )

You look at the small white thing between its legs (nub) if its angle to the backbone is over 30 degrees its a boy, also the end of the nub in boys looks a bit like a fork

Hi, this is my first ever post on any forum, read lots and now giving it a go!! My scan was taken at 14 weeks and I've circled what I think may be the nub but I could be totally wrong?! Any advice or predictions (if it is indeed the nub) would be greatly appreciated :)
