Does anyone have a tips? I'll be 25 weeks when we go.

Thanks!

I went when I was 27 weeks, with a 2 and 3 year old!
I went with DH, FIL and DHs best mate so didn't have to do any heavy lifting, running round after kids etc.
I used the kids potty in the night rather than walk all the way to the loos each time
Get the highest inflatable mattress that you can, maybe 2 on top of each other, it's a long way up again!
Also if there are disabled/family showers see if toucan use them, more space and usually a chair in there so you can sit and get your shoes on etc. the one we went to had a family room so could just get in there with kids and shower/loo etc without them running off, room to manoeuvre etc.

I went at 26 weeks, got a campbed which was so comfy, the one with a metal frame, sort of army style. I loved it, enjoy your trip!

I went at 34 weeks, camped in the woods, no conveniences (practicing my squats!!) but wasn't very comfortable sleeping anyway, even in my bed so figured a bit of outdoorsy fun was well worth it. And it was! I love the outdoors, I'd have been camping every weekend this summer if I hadn't been up the duff!!!
Have fun GrinGrinGrin

We went last weekend and had a great time! I'm 21 weeks but look and feel ready to pop! I recommend a double air bed to yourself if poss. I opened up a(cotton)sleeping bag for me to lie on and took the king size duvet to go over me. OH was very jealous if my super comfy bed! As it happened, me , him and DS2 ALL ended up in there at 3am in the first night. Was still super comfy tho :)

went at 30 weeks

  • get the biggest sleeping bag you can get
-pitch close to the toilets
  • get a tent where you can stand upright for changing clothes

I went at 30 weeks. Got an inflatable mattress from Argos which was really cheap. Other than that didn't do anything different:-)

I've just been for a week at 23 weeks, it was fine. We were by the toilets and I took extra pillows. Only thing I wish I had done was to get one of those big high huge air beds. Mine was a normal one and deflated a bit every night which my hips did not appreciate.

We go on Sunday... We do glamping really (air beds, electric hook up etc) & I cannot wait to get away!

Loveallmyboys · 04/08/2014 22:41

I'm all about the hook ups too cheshire! Got to be able to boil the 'leccy kettle and plug my hairdryer in!!
