Sudden surge of energy!

So after a couple of weeks of finding it hard to get out, walk far, do more than the bare minimum around the house I have today at 38+3 been up since 7, 2 loads of washing, clearing out drawers, taking stuff to charity shop etc. I know it's nesting but it seems so odd to have loads of energy after being genuinely knackered all the time. Think this means baby is going to make an appearance soon? One discouraging thing is that one of the reasons I've been to charity shops is that I was getting severe stabbing pains due to baby's head in my pelvis, but these have now alleviated... Does this mean he's popped back out again?! I think I'd rather be in pain but know he's hovering over the drop zone :(

I'm sure a sudden surge of energy can be the start.
I'm so jealous if it is the start, 40+4 here and still waiting!
Good luck x

Yup, sounds like you're 'nesting', so getting everything ready. He's still hovering, so try not to worry Smile

I got mine a week before labour but every woman is difference. We're supposed to ignore it and save that energy for labour but I used it for sorting cupboards out. Hard to ignore Grin

Don't worry about being engaged yet.. They can pop in and out right up until labour if memory serves right.

Good luck.. nearly the end.

It's so odd, yesterday I wincingly walked slowly to a local restaurant for lunch and that was me done for the day, today I've been charging around with a shopping trolley loaded with books and DVDs for charity shop! It's very helpful but I'm trying not to go crazy, I'm now eyeing a dismantled bookcase that my DH took apart yesterday and wondering if I can put it in the loft... Think ironing will be safer! I feel stressy about going overdue as I want a Waterbirth and can't have one if induced. But that's a long way off yet anyway.
