I'm 20ish weeks and the past few days I could cheerfully kill someone(usually my irritating sh*t of a boyfriend), bury the body and feel no remorse whatsoever!
It doesn't help that he went out Saturday night and got in at 5am. Note: this very rarely happens. But the amount he will have spent on that night out, plus the new clothes he bought for it too, really pisses me off! ESPECIALLY when he won't let me decorate the new baby's room as 'there's no point spending money on a house we don't own'(we rent at the mo), and refuses to buy curtains too! I hate being at home because it's just so basic and unwelcoming. I think it makes much more sense to buy a few tins of paint and a couple pairs of curtains, than to piss £200 up the wall!
So, I'm spending today fuuuuuming!!
Someone give me a cyber slap to snap me out of this funk

I had 3 days of rage at 20 weeks. I have never felt so angry in my life - I'm usually a pretty chilled out person and most things don't phase me, but for those three days I was just a giant ball of rage and angry with everyone and everything. It didn't help that I took a day off work to wait for a kitchen work top delivery that never arrived and had to phone a well known diy shop and their delivery company about 20 times. Very glad to say I haven't had it since...

I'd give it a few days and if you're feeling less stressed/cross bring up the subject again - it doesn't need to cost much to make a few changes that will create a nice space for you and the baby.

I've spend 34 weeks being an irritated b*tch haha!

My days, YES I would be fuming if DH did this. Even if you're renting, some baby motif curtains and a room border or something isn't a waste of money!!

I agree with Twiglet take some deep breaths and bide your time, then discuss it when you're calm.

I had a major rage when DH lost some weight and bought some new clothes just as I turned into a WHALE. Fuming. Not the money so much but the fact I couldn't buy nice things just tunics and preggo leggings, but he got some nice going out stuff (and of course I'm too knackered to go out much) just made me fume. :(

Well I think he 'sensed the tone' and hS today been asking what shoe size my eldest(from previous relationship) is. I pulled him up about the way he is with him so that must have sunk in... For now. We find out what we're having tomoro so I've told him we're off to b&q for paint etc on weds and that the weekend is dedicated to swapping the boys rooms round and decorating! We'll see how long this generosity lasts...
Glad I'm not alone in my desire for a killing spree!

Ha yes squiz, can relate to that! I've usually got up to pee 6 times before he gets in from a night out. The massive b*stard!! Also pissing me off that he wants to grow a frikking PONYTAIL on the top of his head! He's 31 ffs. Swear to god, if he goes through with it, I'm shaving it off while he sleeps! He's a normal, hard working guy. Why the hell would you want to grow a naffing ponytail?! Weirdo!

Love Mine grew a tache, they're all the rage you know. Must be some kind of 1/3rd life crisis thing for blokes.

Yes we had the massive beard phase! Trouble is, he's very blonde, so I was lumbered with a multi-tonal(mainly ginger!)dose of face furniture! Gross!
