I have taken 2 clear blue pregnancy tests, both from different stores and took them both in the morning. Both said the same result, it means I would be nearly 5 weeks I am having severe nausea, headaches and my appetite is all over the place: one minute I'm hungry and can eat loads then the next I am just feeling sick at the sight of food. I am constantly warm and flustered and my breasts are sore. I am tired yet when I sleep I keep worrying if they are false positives or if I am even pregnant at all. I mean two tests can't be wrong and they are from two different stores. I have one test left and will take it in the following weeks. I went to the doctors there regarding the first test and he seemed like everything was okay, he felt my stomach and asked questions but I am worries incase I go to the scan and nothing's there. I am quite a worrier and would worry over every little thing. Advice would be helpful as this would be my first child. Ty all!

You seem to have all the early symptoms of pregnancy to me! The GP wouldn't have felt anything by performing an abdominal palpation this early, as your uterus would not have even come out of the pelvic cavity! He/she probably just wanted to rule out other possible causes for nausea. Congratulations! :)

It's just that I took 2 asda test the previous afternoon and they came back negative. Is it too early to test during the day?

I'm also getting cramps and backache but isn't it too early for those symptoms?

You can get a negative one day and a positive the very next day!

gabrielle1201 · 03/08/2014 12:35

Then which one is it ? Positive or negative?

You are pregnant!
When you first tested, either those tests weren't accurate or there wasn't enough HCG in your urine yet. When you did the second tests it detected HCG.

You can get false negatives but don't get false positives.

Symptoms come on at different times (or not at all) for different people.

squizita · 03/08/2014 12:51

What Jenny said. The test has to start being positive at some point when the hormones have built up, before that it is negative. Simple logic! :)

Okay hahaha I can try enjoy it then! X

You sound very pregnant - even though it's hard to believe! I took 15 tests in a week when I got my BFP. I don't think it feels real for a while. Keep testing, if it helps : ) it'll sink in eventually!

yea i will just to be sure, i keep getting cramps and twinges in my stomach and sides. because its my first its hard to believe tbh.
