Do baby's movements ever wake you up?

Just wondered as I'm 33 weeks and my baby has never woken me up from kicks in the night. I'm not worried, but just wondered what other people experience. I do wake in the night a lot, but not from his kicks.

I'm 37 weeks and baby has never woken me up either and during the day she can put on quite a show

DearDinah · 01/08/2014 23:34

No, I'm 35 + 3 my baby doesn't move much anyway though

Lozmatoz · 02/08/2014 07:09

Yes, I've been woken by my little kicker. Mainly when I feel it far on my side. Usually a shift in my position sorts it our.

Yes but I am a very light sleeper and am even more so now that I am always so uncomfortable at night.

Marnierose · 02/08/2014 09:23

No. Not sure if I'm in a deep sleep or the baby just doesn't move as much at night.

I'm 38 weeks now and baby has never woken me up. I actually posted a similar thread on this earlier in my pregnancy. I used to wake in a bit of a panic about it and prod him in the middle of the night to get him to move but I'm used to it now. Now I just can't sleep as I'm so big! Hopefully a sign of a baby that will sleep during the night......!

I've not been woken up by them, sometimes he starts kicking in the the night when I turn in bed, but never woken me up I'm 28 weeks xx

Dazedconfused · 02/08/2014 10:18

Yes but like polkadot I'm a light sleeper and she likes to kick for an hour around 0430

squizita · 02/08/2014 10:52

No. I'm a very light sleeper with sleep problems.

I do feel them when in a half-sleep stage though. Eg when I turn over well now I have to be awake and that takes effort.

I also wake more than ever in the night, this is normal, I wonder if they wake us and we don't realise that is the case?

I don't think it is a problem though. If it is part of their regular pattern.

No not this one but I've been awake and she's been quiet, from midnught till 5.30 so here's hoping she's like this outside too my son used to wake me up all the time but my placenta was at the back not from like this one so might be just that I'm cushioned
