I think there's something in your notes that will give you an idea but you have to know head circ and abdominal circ and the graph is really confusing!!!! TBH, scans are notoriously rubbish at predicting birthweights. Check out this thread

You wait til they're born and weigh them

Seriousy though, growth scans are notoriously inaccurate, as Olihan says.

Scan weights are totally rubbish. I was told to expect a monster and that I was 'off the scale'. Was worried I can tell you. He weighed 8lb 4oz...

i ave all those measurements but how do i work out what bay could be at term... i know its not that reliable... just curious

on average, how much does a baby gain each week from 28 weeks onwards? sure I've read it somewhere...

As far as I know the weight is not accurate. What I mean is if you try and work out the weight now it's not going to be accurate to the weight of the baby you will have.

I had a 20 week scan this week and asked the same question as dd was 9lb 4ox which was big for my 4ft 11in frame. I was told that the baby is showing as being in an average weight on the graph and I was also told they they can't predict the weight as between now and my due date baby will grow at a differnt rates to other unborn babies. Some are faster some are slower growers..Hence why babies all vary in birth weight. HTH.

It's honestly not worth knowing..! What would you do if you find out baby is a 10lber..??!

It has to come out somehow.!!

I'm just curious! am comparing with a friend who is 4 weeks ahead of me.... i dont care if its accurate or not, or if its enormous as I'm having a section anyway!

Wheres this graph that you talk about? I have been given an estimated weight at 28 weeks, am 32 now and simply curious!
