Hi all!

I am going to lunch in one hour and the canteen at work is serving chorizo and tomato soup. I know you can eat cooked chorizo so do you think as it will be part of a piping hot soup I can have it? I really hope so!

thanks for your help!

Yes.

I'd eat it. I cooked it in a frying pan and ate it on its own with DS1 and cooking it in a soup is no different-it's still cooked!

Yeah do it. Its only when the cold meat has been cured and not cooked you need to be a bit cautious. Once its cooked its fine.

JennyBlueWren · 01/08/2014 11:59

Ooh yummy! Yes have it.

mousmous · 01/08/2014 12:00

yes, it w ill be cooked through so will be fine.

PeppermintInfusion · 01/08/2014 12:06

Yes the soup will have been bubbling away for a while and it was probably added at the start anyway to flavour it, can't see them just throwing some in at the end of cooking. Go for it!

Cooked is fine.
Not cooked cured 'ready to eat' meat... freeze it and defrost before eating. Then OK. :)
