When do babies develop regular movement pattern?

I've been reading a few threads about movements - increased or decreased and what that might mean.

I'm only 22 weeks and have a very active baby - she always kicks when I eat (which is pretty frequently due to nausea) and is generally quiet when I got to bed at night but my understanding is that she's still got plenty of room in there and therefore I won't always be able to clearly feel movement.

At what point should you look for a pattern of movement and then use this to determine if baby is moving as normal.

Apologies if that seems like a stupid question!

From about 24-28 weeks:

Yes, use the guide Dino has linked to. On line on forums (some more than others babycentre hrmhrmhrm ) there's this tendancy to claim babies were kicking regularly from 6 weeks...can cause anxiety.
Likewise, you want an official guide - that website also advises you how to monitor movement safely too.

Thanks - I've downloaded the app!

Not worried at the moment as she is so busy and active but just want to make sure I do start correctly monitoring when needed.

Pregnancy really is just one thing to worry about after another!
