I have been trying for some months now to get pregnant with my boyfriend of 6 years and nothing seemed to work. However, I have not got my AF this month (should be on the 30th) and my LMP was June 1st. I am currently on CD 32 when i should be on my 3rd day of my period, we did the BD 3 times before ovulation and i don't want to test to give both mine and my boyfriends hopes up. i have never had my period be so late and the only symptom i have is sore, heavy and tender breasts (mainly the nipples) and nausea along with what appears to be menstrual pains but no period since Aug 29. Should i go test or maybe wait a little while longer?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Do you have another test you can do this morning?

First morning urine is best to use

Mumof3xox · 02/08/2014 06:43

Oh and false positives are rare

gabrielle1201 · 02/08/2014 07:41

Did one this morning positive

That's great news!

Yay!

Testing at night is often inaccurate. The hcg levels are diluted. Morning result is always more accurate. A negative at night is normal in early days.

I had strong twinges like a stitch with both of mine. Not really cramps though.

annabenbow · 02/08/2014 08:56

Congratulations, I had bad cramping at about 6 weeks I went to the GP reasured me everything was ok and was very supportive , I am 14 weeks today and waiting on arrival of my pushchair :).
If cramping continues I'd recommend going GP even if is just for reassurance and I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy :) x
