This is my 2nd pregnancy though first pregnancy in the borough that we live in.

I went to see my gp at 8 weeks who referred me to the community mid wife's at the local hospital.

I have received a booking in appointment for the 19th August by which time I shall be 13+3.

I thought I would need a scan before then?
Should I ask for the booking in appt to be brought forward?

I think the nuchal scan / 12 weeks scan needs to be before 13w6, so you should be okay. Booking in is usually 8 weeks, but maybe they are combining the two appointments. Might be worth ringing them to check that.

Sounds like they're cutting it fine- call hospital directly and explain you're worried you won't be able to do the nuchal test.
