Anybody been through this what was you outcome please?

Hiya everyone,
Im on my 3rd pregnancy and had a 34 week growth scan last week they have said the baby is already weighing approx 6LB 1OZ which they are not too worried about but at the follow up appointment with my consultant the babys abdomen was measuring past the 100th centile line so they have booked me in to have another scan next week its been playing on my mind ever since and im hoping for some advice from anyone goin/been through a similar experiance

I am in a similar situation.

Had a growth scan on Tuesday at 32 weeks and consultant I saw afterwards has booked me in for a 36 week scan as well. Didn't then explain what would happen after that so got in a state yesterday!

My measurements are on the 95th percentile.

I spoke to midwife at the hospital yesterday who said they will look at what the growth is like between the two dates and then consider options - very very unlikely to be a recommendation for a C section, possibly won't be recommended to go past my due date the full 12 days which is the hospital standard, or may be advised to be induced earlier due to size.

It might be worth trying to speak to someone at your hospital about what the next steps might be - it did put my mind at rest as it was overthinking things. Also it may be different for your hospital.
