Anti-D question

Does anyone know how long 500 units of it would stay I your system? I had a jab a week ago after a small bump which I probably didn't need it for but because I'd phoned the mat unit up for advice they gave it to me anyway. They all said they didn't think I actually needed it and was worrying over nothing but better to be safe and have it.

Yesterday i went to the toilet and thought I saw a bit of blood on the tissue when I wiped. There was a small amount of CM there and a red sort of smear next to it on the tissue. I'm not sure if it was just dye in the paper and am inclined to think that if the blood had come from inside it would be mixed with CM.

I'm actually on holiday at the moment - in UK but I don't know where to go and also from my experience whenever I just ask for advice from midwives re anti D they always say just get it. They're covering their backs basically.

Do You think that in the event that I had had a tiny (and I mean tiny) bleed that the anti-D in my system from a week ago would counteract it?
