Confused ��

I was sterilised 4yrs ago but have been feeling weird over the past week eg sore breasts bloating sickness mood swings and tired constantly I've taken two pregnancy test both came back with really really faint lines which is a positive result so I've been told. I have four children already n the tests with each of them came up really strong positives. Has anyone any advice I'm scared n very nervous as I've been told that if the result is right n with been sterilised the pregnancy would more than likely be ectopic.

Any advice is welcome ??

have you been to see your gp? they might be able to do a blood test to measure the hormone level in the blood to see if you differently are or refer you to the hospital for a scan?

Ye been to my gp yesterday had to hand a urine sample in this morning results will be in tomorrow she said so I'm a nervous wreck :/ if results come back negative got to have bloods done.

It came back as just normal it didn't give a negative or positive result :( which they said I need to see a dr again on Tuesday will keep you updated and thank you :)

How annoying! I always say, pregnancy is such a grey area in the world if medicine. No bugger knows much about any of it! Women have been getting pregnant/having babies since time began, yet they can't tell you much(just make vague guesses) about why anything happens during it!

So why dont you just buy a pregnancy test urself then xx

That's the first thing I did was but another test still coming up as a faint positive more faint than the others so don't have a clue what's going on!!

Yea come up pregnant so will be Avin bloods n maybe sent for a scan due to been sterilised 4 yrs ago. It's just my luck I would have to be one of the 2% that it happens to lol but if pregnancys normal looks like another addition to my little family :)

Im due soon with dc3 and this was very much unplanned after 2 that we planned for. I had a bad time with ds2 and got caught within months so ds2 is now 1 and im due any time really with no.3 took me a long time to get my head around it but sounds like your taking it well.
Ps after the initial shock im pleased to be having another.

Same with my middle two kids there's 13 month between them two lol. Oh I'm still in shock haha but if I am I am I've got four another won't make a difference lol. No tbh if I don't laugh n go with the flow I'd prob av a melt down obviously I didn't intend on havin anymore I was only 25 when I demanded my tubes to be tied I thought I'd done my bit but looks like Mother Nature had other thoughts ??.

Im 22 on no.3 after ds2 dh was talking to my dad about how nice it is to have 2 kids. That night I found out I was pregnant

I was 23 on my 3rd lol yea seems we r very similar :) hahaha think you may if jinxed yourself but a having a baby is something special wether we've been caught out it not n like you I'll be pleased if everything's normal n I definatly am

Well started with a heavy bleed earlier at hospital now and it's ectopic pregnancy :( I'm pretty gutted even tho it was really really really unexpected. Seriously thinking about getting my tubes untied now. thank you for all your advice n well wishes.

Was it ectopic because your tubes were tied? Your OH must have super-sperm! Might be best to get it looked into incase you could have future ectopic pregnancies.

Ah I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this. Hope you get sorted soon and you can put this behind you.
And yes, since you're feeling disappointed that you weren't pregnant, it could be time to rethink things.
