So to add to the many hideous pregnancy symptoms I'm experiencing I have now grown a wart on my face. It's on my eyelid and my gp won't do anything until I'm not pregnant, and all the OTC medicines say not to use in pregnancy.

Has anyone experienced this and had any luck with more traditional remedies?

NHS says:

'If you are pregnant and have warts, your GP may recommend using salicylic acid, cryotherapy or duct tape.

Salicylic acid can be used to treat warts during pregnancy as long as it is used on a small area for a limited period of time.'

Not on your face though apparently!

I had this problem when pregnant and my gp wouldn't touch it. I also had to join a nhs waiting list to get it removed and it took two years to get to the front of it. I paid privately to have it surgically removed
