5 days until due date and babies head not in my pelvis!

Hi,

Just seen my midwife and she seems concerned as I am 5 days away from my due date and she said the babies head is not down into my pelvis at all yet which she thinks is very unusual especially as this is my first. She is giving it a week and then I have to go and be reviewed with the doctor.
Has anyone else had this? I would be grateful of any advice! Thanks x

My DS1 hadn't engaged at the same stage. He came out the 'right' way! The only thing is that if they induce you and baby still doesn't engage they may be more prepared for a section, and you'd be more prepared too instead of being totally shocked.
