Update on the surname thread..

If anyone's interested I took all advice and haven't raised the matter. Last night OH brings it up I said well I don't think I see it happening anytime soon and thought he wasn't bothered since he changed his mind when I was first pregnant...

The response is he thinks we are getting married next year ...?!!!!! Lol. He says in that case use whatever name I want as it will get changed at that

So after all the worry I've got the name I wanted anyway..

He's on good behaviour still but I don't think I will be mentioning the fact I'm completely off the idea unless his personality transplant continues for some years..

Aren't men funny how do u possibly think after not even mentioning marriage since a row 8 months ago and being a total nob during pregnancy that a) I want too still and b) it will be next year..!

My ex was like that. He thought (no matter what grumps he threw out during arguments) that I'd just follow along with 'the plan' he had. He seems to still nit 'get' I have my own agenda (and now totally separate life). He has it im his head at the moment that we all (basically him and his girlfriend, me, husband, children) are all going to have some family holiday next year. But he wont even come in my house for a drink or dinner. Very strange.
