Just that really. Not worried and neither is my MW but I always thought if the kick was hard enough to see, it would be felt inside too!

3rd trimester, normal placenta. But sometimes I see a little foot kick out or have my hand on my bump and feel firm movement from the outside - but not really sense them on the inside IYSWIM. Other times I feel the kicks/swooshes from the inside too. MW says provided it is obviously movement, it counts- but I reckon I miss a few a day just not bump-staring!

I'm quite anxious so count kicks and lie down to do so 2-3 times daily.

Little so-and-so loves to make me say "when did I last feel movement? Should I prompt??" Shock then DH or DSis are like 'what are you talking about look down! Can you not feel that!?" and theres a little foot sticking in and out! Grin

All the time! In fact often when I think he's not moving it's just because I haven't been looking. I think as the movements change from kicks to shifts they're harder to feel. Glad it's not just me though : )

Yes! While in the bath I always see momement that I can't feel, very strange! 33 weeks now.

Same here!!! 27w now, low anterior placenta, so rarely feel the lower movements (sometimes I do feel them in my bum??!!). I only know dd is having a dance at the moment is because my iPad keeps moving.

I've not had this, but I was at the midwife this week and she was listening to the baby's heartbeat. The machine was also picking up other noises which she said was the sound of the baby moving but I couldn't feel them at all.

Yup I get that sometimes, can see movement but not feel it, usually higher up for me though, guess little one is kicking me somewhere I have less nerves for feeling!

I had a scan at 37 weeks and the baby was moving in the scan but I didn't feel anything! My consultant was also feeling my bump and said the baby s very active and kicking me, again I didn't feel a thing! Often I look at bum to see movement, it's really weird!

Mine is a cheeky one!

Had a moment of panic and had to go and count kicks at a local music festival this afternoon (well, I had to go to the 1st aid tent and count kicks whilst there ) as soon as I lifted up my t-shirt I could see them.

Also my DH can always get her to move!!

She just loves to get me scared and as soon as I'm reaching for my notes to call the MW helpline she wobbles up my belly and kicks. Grin Phew what a relief! But I hope this isn't the pattern for the next 18 years!!

Yes...I get this too...glad I am not the only one !! My first pregnancy was twins so I felt constant kicks with them...this baby seems much less active.
I have an anterior placenta so was told this was normal by my midwife. When I have the doppler...they always remark how active he is...although I can't feel him at the time !
