Driving test at 39 weeks?

I have just failed my driving test. 36 weeks pregnant and really need to be able to drive, rural, no bus, no shop in walking distance and new to the area. The next available date is a week before my due date- which I have booked, am I crazy?
I am just terrified in wasting the investment in time and money I have made in driving lessons this year, and taking my test with a tiny breastfeeding baby seems really unlikely...

Not mad! Get it done! Is it your first baby? It may well be late. It'll be much easier now than after s/he arrives. Good luck!

Just do it, I failed mine (in jan) and took it 3 weeks later went so much better. I got 2 majors and 10 minors first time. 3 weeks later got 1 minor. Good luck xx

I passed mine at 38 weeks. Go for it Smile

I have a friend who passed hers on her due date - she did say the Examiner didn't give her as long a test as usual...

I can cancel or postpone up to 3 days in advance, and if I do go into labour I can get a refund as it's cancellation due to medical reasons... Really good to hear some success stories thank you! I failed on seven minor faults, unfortunately two of them being identical (hesitancy on roundabout) so the meanie decided to fail me, I tried so hard! Right, positive thinking and crossing of legs... :)
