How likely is another breech birth?

I've already had 3 breech babies.

Do chances increase with every breech birth or is it all just luck of the draw?

Wow, have you given birth to 3 breech babies? Were they vaginal deliveries?
My last baby was breech for the entire pregnancy, I think she was head down for about a week lol. I had a section at 39 weeks.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant now and this baby has been head down all along so fingers crossed that she remains like that.

I was told that there's a 3% chance that babies will be breech at term so it would be unlikely to happen again but you never know.
Have they given you any possible reasons for it happening 3 times to you? Shape of your uterus, small babies, fluid issues, etc?

All vaginal births.

No problems with uterus. I am prone to smaller babies due to my small size and problems with iron levels (but I don't think that has any effect). They think ds4 was due to circumstances.

DS1: Full-term but was breech all through pregnancy. He was around 7lbs.

DS3: Full-term Twin (MCMA), no problems during pregnancy. Weighed 5lbs 7oz.

DS3: Premature Twin (DCDA), he had Oligohydramnios from 9w. Symertrical IUGR and weighed 1lb 9oz.

I'm planning a homebirth and even though my MW is trained to deal with breech birth she's only delivered one. So I'm hoping it's just luck!
