Was your first baby similar size to the next one?

Just curious. DD was a bit under 7 lb a week late. I think my bump is a reasonably similar size so far but only 30 weeks.

from eta at last prediction (which also varied a lot)
6 days late 8.12
5 days late 9.10
12 days early 9.6
they just kept getting much, much bigger...

#1 DS 8.2 - 39 wks
#2 DS 9.13 - 40+6 wks
#3 DS 8.4 - 40 wks
#4 DS 6.8 - 35+5 wks

#2 was the biggest but by far the easiest labour. 3 hrs start to finish and only 2 pushes!!

Planning #5 with new partner and have no ide what to expect!

No! DD arrived on her due date at 9.8. DS arrived (last week!) at 38+4 at 6.14.

Everyone who sees him comments on how tiny he is, which is a novelty! DD had a full head of thick black hair so with that and her size I never got the whole "aww, look at the little baby!" thing.

DS1 6lbs 4 oz and looked like a skinny alien at 41 weeks .

DS2 9lbs at 39 weeks - he seemed absolutely massive!

Apparently I was 8lb 4oz too though I was a week late!

Dd was 6lb14 at 39+4

Ds2 was 8lb3 at 39 weeks
Am slightly worried what dc4 is going to weigh in 5 and a bit weeks time!!!
I've been told by my midwife and consultant that I am quite unusual in having babies that get that much bigger each time though, so wouldn't worry too much

No idea what happened with dc3 he was huge and no one picked up on it! Am pregnant again and looks like it's going to be a similar size, my poor fanjo!

Dd1, 6lb 10oz (two days late)
Ds1, 7lb 7oz (around due date, but had steroids cos they thought he was coming at 32 weeks)
Ds2, 6lb 10oz (3days early)
Dd2, 5lb (she was 3 weeks early)

Well I seem to have a predictable pattern. Both DSs were born at exactly 39 weeks weighing exactly 8lbs

Mind you, DS1 was short & solidly built, but DS2 was very long and skinny, so although they weighed the same they had very different shapes.

Very similar sizes, but different gestational ages:

DS1 - 9lbs 13oz, 41 weeks
DS2 - 10lbs 0.5oz, 41+2
DS3 - 10lbs even, 40 weeks (I dread to think what he would've been if I'd waited for him to come!)

DC1 - 6lb 15.5oz, 53cm (40+6)
DC2 - 7lb 2oz, 47cm (39+5)

8 lb 5 (39 weeks)

1st DD 40 +1 7lb 4oz

I wasn't noticeably bigger with DS. It was a bit of a shock. Currently expecting DD2, hoping for a smaller one and no tear this time. Bump is measuring a bit over though, so may end up with another heifer (relatively speaking, I'm aware other people have much bigger babies, but I am very short).

DC1 7lbs 15ozs (I just told everyone 8lb after the birth) 40 weeks
DC2 6lbs 5ozs. 39 weeks. I was told she was a very small baby and had weekly scans for the last few weeks.

This time (33 weeks) my fundal height has measured 3cm ahead but scans show that measurements = dates, pretty much to the day.
