Bleeding at 6 weeks

Hi,
Can anyone advise how much bleeding is ok at 6 weeks.
I have red blood like a light period and very light pain hardly noticeable. Have an appointment with dr later but really freaking out. Is it a mc? Only had one clot and it was a pin head size first thing this morning.

Littleboo wish I could give you an answer, but Im in a similar situation and none the wiser.
Had cramps this afternoon & a fairly heavy flow of red blood (like 1st day of period), both both cramping & bleeding seems to have eased off now.
Im assuming the worst, can't get hold of my local EPU or GP until tomorrow & can't face going to A & E or anything like that, so just sitting tight...

If anyone else has had a similar experience would love to hear your advice?

I had bleeding at 7 weeks, 10 weeks and 14 weeks.

The bleeding at 7 and 10 weeks was more like brown blood but had bright red stringy bits in (sorry to be graphic) but the bleed at 14 weeks was horrendous! I was having a wee, wiped, saw fresh blood on the paper, looked in the toilet bowl and there was so much blood! The water in the bowl was completely bright red. I was petrified. I went straight to hospital and they examined and scanned me and baby was fine.

When I'd had the lesser worrisome bleeds at 7 & 10 weeks (although I was obviously very scared at the time) I was given a scan at my local EPU within 2 days each time. Waiting for the scan was so nerve wracking because obviously I thought the worse - as does everyone.

Some women bleed for the duration of their pregnancies - my best friend didn't realise she was pregnant until she was 14+ weeks as she had been bleeding and just assumed she was having period.

When I had my huge bleed at 14 weeks I had stomach pains for a few days after. I also continued to bleed for about 4 days though it was very light and typically old blood.

Try not to think the worst and I hope you both get positive outcomes x
