I am 6 +2 weeks and since Monday I seem to be having a brown... Occasionally brown pinky discharge when I go to the loo. A little spotting through the day but more obvious in the morning. My doctor won't sent me for a scan until 7weeks... I am beyond worried that the little bean hasn't struck!!

Hi Worried, welcome to the unfortunate spotting club. It's really daunting when you spot but as I have found out, it is quite common. I had a bleed & spotted for two weeks. I then caved and went for a private scan at 7+5 and my little jelly bean's heart was flickering away. I've spotted for about a month now.
Things should be fine but perhaps if it continues, see about getting a private scan. If you get pain or cramping along with it, then get it checked out.
Hope everything goes well for you!

Sparkle, that would totally tally up with when I bled a couple of days ago. I had a bit of a 'strainer' and bled about 5 hours later. Thanks for that! Oh the dignity eh'?!

Similar to sparkle I also had brown spotting and some cramping after a bowel movement, I was very very constipated so it was quite an effort if you see what I mean! It would continue for the whole day after too. Anyway I'm now 11 weeks and as far as I know everything is fine (still v sick and starting to show) so for me it didn't mean anything sinister. Oh and also it stopped after 9 weeks.
Good luck.

Thank you all, still feeling uneasy about it...but. It does seem worse after going to the loo... This seems to have calmed me somewhat!!
