third trimester weight estimates?

were your birth estimates bang on, over or under trying to work out having a csection in 3 weeks at 34 weeks and he's estimated weight is 5'3 are they usually more over or under just intrested

weight estimates sorry just being nosey but wanna know if they're more likely to be over or under and i meant 5lb 3oz

I think they are notoriously unreliable either way. A friend of mine had a scan that estimated baby would be around 7.7lbs at delivery (planned c section), baby was actually 9lb 6oz at delivery (39 weeks)!

I have seen a lot of posts on here with similar things, sorry that it's not very helpful!

My baby is measuring off the centile top range at the moment...they haven't given me a weight estimate but I can't wait to see what size baby actually is!

My eldest was born at 32 weeks due to severe pre eclampsia and they did a scan just before delivery (scan remember why) and they said he would he around 4lbs, but was 2lbs 12oz, so very unreliable in my experience x
